The Future Looks Bright - but that's because the dumpster fire is white-hot

The Sonic the Hedgehog fandom breathed a sigh of relief this week as an updated character model was released for the upcoming liveaction movie that was a remarkable improvement from the previously released version. The brain trust at Hasbro, following their lead, did the complete opposite of that and released these images which are a steaming pile of Teen Titans Go.

The future of My Little Pony is bright, but that light at the end of the tunnel might be an oncoming freight train. Look at this bullshit.

These images were released as a series of posts over on the official My Little Pony facebook page.  The Most recent of which garnered overwhelming immediate hate from nearly everyone.

Some anons have taken it upon themselves to remove the text to see what the underlying images would look like....and it's every nightmare come true.

The best everyone can hope for is that this is only a promotional art piece for this upcoming line of horrifying brushable toys...and not some sort of generation 4.5 animation.

We've also just received an update from an Entertainment Weekly article, depicting this new toy line.

We can only hope this is just a new toyline and not going to be official animation for anything going forward.
