/mlp/ no longer on 4chan.org


In a turn of events that does not disturb /mlp/'s function as much as its spirit, the Pony board, which has been a part of 4chan.org since early 2012, is no longer a part of that domain.
It, along with all other safe-for-work blue boards have been moved to a new domain called "4channel.org" and attempting to load its former URL redirects you to the new site.

How this will affect the site's identity and cohesion with 4chan as a whole is yet unclear, but it doesn't feel right to look at the top of the browser and see 3 extra characters in the name.

We of course have been dealing with a similar issue ourselves here at Horse News, with our identity changes for reasons beyond our control. We fear that the reasoning for this is morbid and we hope to be proven wrong soon.

      Maybe because Horse News is a garbage "national enquirer" shock and click bait website and 4chan, although home to trolls, is higher class than horse news and horse news sucks a fat donkey 8=====D

    You cannot kill 4chan. Even if you literally permaban the URL from the Internet, it will just reincarnate somewhere else.
