More Leaks from Hasbro / DHX, now featuring Hitler


We're starting to wonder if they just left the password as "password".
More leaks have sprung forth today, from the same exact source as last time...and the time before that...
It's really less of a leak, and more of a torrent of water coming out.
In it, there are more character designs, private emails, the future of EQG, and even discussion about Hitler.

We're not going to post the links here, but they're not hard to find.

    Because that always goes over well with the older crowd. The younger ones likely won't notice, but I think this kind of foreshadows less focus on the older demographic, despite them claiming the demographic is going to be the same.

    Lol the leaked mails included one where they admited that faust fucking hated Equestria Girls so they refused to credit her out of spite and butthurt.

    EqG is directly based on FiM, which was developed by Faust. By refusing to credit her, they are literally breaking the law, but what else can you expect from that group of immoral losers?

      Meghan's answer: "Yes. She was pretty vocal about her disdain for this spin-off so we ended up not crediting her."

    I am already super depressed from shit going on IRL the past few months and this is the first time I've checked any pony related stuff a few weeks, and this is not the news I needed. Specifically the new VAs and forced "diversity". There are so SO many good things they could do for G5 that could still be a "reboot" without destroying the legacy of G4.

    That said the writing has been on the wall for years now. Hasbro has been trying to distance themselves from "bronies" since 2015 or so and a complete reboot with shitty committee-designed characters and "movie soundalikes" for VAs instead of VAs who actually fit the role is a really good way to get "bronies" to finally drop MLP.

    Fake or not these leaks are upsetting not just because of what they contained, but the implications of what they tried to do and what it means for the future of the mlp brand.

    For somepony to write off the leaks as fake, or to write off those who are understandably upset does nothing but a disservice to the fandom that has sprung up around this show. And I’ve seen many people write off that sentiment as well with the tired "It’s main demographic is children" response yet conveniently forgetting all that the show staff has done to the show with regard to the fandom; as well as participating in said fandom online and at conventions.

    This fandom isn’t some niche little club that can be written off, it has some merit, and the fans inside said fandom are understandably upset that we essentially have less than 2 years of fresh content remaining before the well dries up and Hasbro completely fucks up the MLP brand back into obscurity.

    And that’s scary for some people. Writing off that worry isn’t helpful, although neither is harassing show staff about it. Fans are upset and want answers that they’re not going to get and we’re effectively left to deal with the upcoming unceremonious end to MLPFIM.
