Horsefame - an often discussed topic that seems to affect many people in different ways, whether one has it, or not. It has indeed been the source of drama for many years now, from the Black Gryph0n Pay-to-Play scandal, to the ever classic Everfree Network shutting down due to the actions of their former leader as the catalyst for Twitter blocking drama to be felt even two years later. We have seen many times in the fandom of how absolute power corrupts absolutely, but not much has been shown about those who lack horse-fame, until today.
Earlier today, we got word that former Ponyville Live member, a former Internet Station Owner who goes by the name of Shadow Pony was upset about not receiving enough respect and recognition in the My Little Pony fandom, and has subsequently left said fandom for the supposedly greener pastures of the Furry fandom. According to our source who spoke on a condition of anonymity, Shadow Pony angrily left the fandom and pulled his station out from Ponyville Live, renaming it from "ManeFrame Radio" to "PawPrint Radio" and made it all-furry.
Alone this isn't newsworthy, as there have been many overlaps between furries and bronies, much to either the disdain or joy of others. But what he's done next is absolutely hilarious, for Shadow Pony has made his own new website (with yiffers and hookers). And if your guess for the website's name is Furryville Live, you're goddamn right. This, of course, is unsupported and unsanctioned by current PVL staff.
For now, the website is a work in progress, but we've been informed that Shadow Pony has been constantly asking other, still-current PVL members questions about coding, as we've been told that he seems to have no idea what he is doing.
Now this is a very special individual, as we're going to go in depth to find out just who this Shadow Pony is. Going through his profile at MLPForums [Archive Link], we get a good idea of just whom we're dealing with.
[Wake Me Up Inside Intensifies] |
And keep in mind this is just one of his six original characters, of which you can go see on his profile. Clearly one isn't enough, and two is amateur work - better make six, one being a changeling of course, and the other, some hybrid wolf thing. I honestly have no idea what to make of them.
Looking at his radio website now known as PawPrintRadio, aka the former ManeFrame Radio, there's not much there to see other than a music player shoved haphazardly to the far right of the screen. Well done on the coding job there.
Clicking the link to see what kind of music plays on such a furry radio station, we're greeted with amazing, wholesome, family-friendly artists and titles such as:
- Furries In A Blender - Conquest
- Cardopusher - Travestieren Transsexuellen Over The Rainbow
- Shitmat - Buckfast Supanova
- Renard - Banned Forever
- Klippa - Acid Bath
- Azrael - Ramming Speed
- Bong-Ra - Coke Sniffah
And much, much more.
From this, we now can clearly see what the lack of #horsefame does to a person, it seemingly drives someone to other fandoms to try to make their name there. That is, if you didn't already have issues to begin with. The rest of us just drown our lack of horsefame out with vodka, horse pussy, and the never-ending stream of drama and autism that we thrive on.
In any case, to them, we say good luck and have fun fishing in even bigger waters for fame and glory, and try not to cut yourselves on that edge there. Though if you do, we've got bottles of Everclear, Russian Standard, and Jägermeister here. Prost!
This has been going on for many years now. Even the people who used to be famous are now full blown furfags.
ReplyDeleteJesus Christ that's one of the most autistic OC's I've seen.
ReplyDeleteHeresy!
DeleteA large majority of the #horsefamous people of old were in the furry fandom to begin with. TheLivingTombstone comes to mind immediately. Yelling At Cats. The people in Bronyville (Bronyshow.com, not Ponyville Live). DustyKatt and Sethisto, obviously. A good portion of the artists probably as well (loads of practice drawing anthropormorphic characters before MLP got popular). It only makes sense that some would return to it after they feel they're "done" with ponies. The furries didn't "steal" anyone and no one "graduated" to furries or infiltrated "our fandom". They've been here since day 0 and are in most of the prominent spots of the fandom because they helped create it.
DeleteTechnically, he's still a furry after he switched fandoms.
ReplyDeleteSo... if I should say this to Shadow Pony...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zd9muK2M36c
Due to the fact that you guys have this all wrong? why attack them now?
ReplyDeletewhy attack other fandom and cause more drama? Do you think this will really hurt him? he practically does not give to shits anymore just going to continue as if this was nothing
Because the furry fandom is fucking cancerous and gets its kicks out of bullying bronies while being hilariously blind to the irony of a pot calling a kettle black.
DeleteAnd because the furry fandom has little amounts of non-sexual content. I know it sounds like I'm the pot calling the kettle black, but I honestly have not found any non-sexualized furry related content before.
DeleteWhile this is a good cross-section, there's a whole lot more to this enigma than immediately meets the eye. For example, one of the OCs you didn't mention is an offensive stereotype of gay people. Then there's his long history of burnt creative help.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad he finally left. Everything he got his paws (see what I did there?) on, he assumed was his instrument to broaden his popularity. Only reason why I tried to help him out way back when was because I felt bad for his failing radio. Then all of a sudden he tries to start telling me that he knows better about everything I have going (All I literally did was post pony images on FB ;-;) and constantly lectured me on my page not getting anywhere if I continued posting only >Clean >Funny/cute >Pony related image's. Finally had to kick him off the page after two dozen+ warnings and then he starts threatening me that he'll make my page worthless with his immense popularity and Radio... I honestly wouldn't mind if he did (Nothing has changed even after a year of patiently waiting). I just post pictures because people like to see cute ponies in their news feed. I don't do it for "horsefame". So much potential gone to waste with that guy. SMH
ReplyDelete>Everything he got his paws on.

I hear he doesn't even go under the name ShadowPony his new fursona name is like ShadowLeRawr or something? I saw him post something somewhere about it.
ReplyDeleteSource: Look at his Twitter @AgentShadowPony That's his new name :P it seems.
DeleteFurries don't like "Shadow" either. He's in a group in our state and we're rather sick of him. He whines and whines and that's all he does. It's annoying as hell. After seeing this when someone posted this, I had to say something. He's a horrible person that I wish I never had to see.
DeleteWho cares. Really. So he left one community for another, cool. Not worth the internet space to bitch about it.
ReplyDeleteThey are just finding something to bitch about since they don't have anything better to do after the kim possible controversy
DeleteThere is probably a reason why he left they just don't know the full story.
Horse News just goes off of what people tell them.
So What he left...he probably left like haft the brony fandom did..and most of them are not interested in the fandom any more and seek out other things to do. Hes practically doing probably what makes him happy as for the most part people do what makes people happy.
So my question is ....why give a fuck?
So why bully some one you don't know? just because its your form of entertain meant does not mean its right this site is practically a lie its basically cyber bulling on a giant scale of wrong
DeleteMy point exactly.
DeleteActually, this guy's a proper shit from DDOSing others' websites to plagiarizing their content for money and exploiting child labor. I'm not saying that "bullying" is okay, but if anybody needs comeuppance, it's this guy.
DeleteIt shouldn't matter what he did before since he's not in this fandom anymore - let the furs deal with him. Their problem.
DeleteWhen i read this article it looks like hes doing better where he is now
ReplyDeletevs the fandom he was in...so this article literary means nothing what so ever
it's just information based on what you guys have gotten about him
so fucking what. and from what it looks like you guys are promoting him vs bashing him so this is a win win situation
Seriously, he always makes the same fucking typos- can't even do a good job of sock-puppeteering, which he does to ridiculous extents. If you check his station's twitter, he regularly shills himself as though he and the station are unaffiliated.
DeleteShadowPony pls go
DeleteIf all the comments look suspicious, it's because he's been sending messages out to his friends encouraging them to raid this article in response to it. Some of the comments are him himself.
ReplyDeleteThe point of this article isn't just to poke fun at the hilariously insane name of Shadow's new project (FurryVille Live? Seriously?!) but to point out that all the same things that made this guy unstable and poorly-suited to run a pony project are still around in the furry world. He has some major emotional issues, even worse spelling issues, and not even a tenth of the skill it would take to run something this size.
You can already see him going completely nuts in the furry fandom, chatting up every project who will talk to him and trying to "absorb" as many as he can. He's trying to build a little empire of his very own, powered by his endless supply of spaghetti. The problem is, a lot of people don't know the disaster they're walking into. This is just one little peek into the madness that is Shadow Pony.
Furries, if you're reading this, DON'T GIVE THIS GUY POWER.
Believe me, he hasn't been successful at this. Furries hate the guy
DeleteI know this "Shadowpony" in real life, as a furry. He is a disturbed, terrible individual who has no creativity and all he does is whine constantly. No one ever wants him to come to our meets or talk to him at all since he's such a creep.
ReplyDeleteHe was bitching about this in a telegram chat. Godspeed to the people on this site. You horsefuckers are amazing.
ReplyDeleteIs there really a point to any of this? Oh boo-hoo he wronged some butt-hurt ponies and decided to bitch about it. He's moved on from this community, let it go.
ReplyDeleteSo no, there's no point to this article being made.
DeleteFound this due to him whining about this in a telegram chat.
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry you have to deal with this moron. We hate him too.
Ugh, Shadow makes his staff do shit and not be thankful of their work. Instead, he just bitch about it and gives them more work to do. He doesn't consider about other people's busy schedules and proceed shoving them with more work to do. Shadow is very cryptic in his words and he 'pokes' people for response rather than directly tell them what he needs. It gets very annoying to work with him, when you have your own busy schedule to live with.
ReplyDeleteNot only that, but he actually owes several of them money, particularly the artists he hired and then ripped off, in addition to empty promises of rewards for the amateur(read: children) web developers he's managed to ensnare.
DeleteHe'd rather spend his money on plushies of his plagiarized OCs than actually pay the people that took his drivel and made them make even a modicum of sense.
Back during ManeFrame, it was the same old story. I heard from a few people there that even the logo for ManeFrame was originally plagiarized, causing this huge backlash from that same studio who worked on Fighting is Magic. Huge fight between the two, causing a huge legal problem that he did nothing but exacerbate.
DeleteThat never happened 04:23, if fact they made a deal with the name, still both maneframes where utter shit, the first for being a bunch of Creativity Kitchen troublemakers-attention whores who can't do anything right and like brag about their shitty skills but fail at everything like Slashy, and the last for being exactly the same,so I'm glad they are both gone.
DeleteActually, it did happen with the old "triple hexagon" logo- that shit got pinned on me even though I had nothing to do with its inception, so I wound up doing half the discussion to get thrown out from under the bus. I did some of their stuff, but stopped as soon as he stopped offering to pay for even an hour of my time.
Delete@L3chsed I was talking about the legal part, AFAIK Maneframe isn't a registered trademark, and they "sorted it out" : http://imgur.com/a/WVZpR
DeleteStill, they are both shit: http://archive.is/ncrXx
I think we already established that I'm not exactly a fan either but I was referring to the logo- even without a trademark, copying a logo is still copyright infringement. Unfortunately though, your imgur link doesn't appear to be working.
DeleteDid anyone say Maneframe?
DeleteManeframedev and ManeframeRadio share many of the same symptoms:
Both are spoiled immature brats.
Both plagiarized logos and web designs.
Both wanted to be horse-famous.
Both didn't know what they were doing.
Both ended like failures.
Both sites are dead.
I mean, there are a few other bronies that I know of that went *cough* accepted their furry heritage when the brony fandom couldn't cut it for them. He reminds me too much of the likes of Index and maybe Silver Eagle. It's not so much horse fame itself but it's horse fame on the radio that does it. Why I couldn't tell you.
ReplyDeletewhat do you mean Prismatic Zero?
DeleteA few people I know when they can't get horse fame they tend to stop or realize it's futile. Those trying to be radio personalities tend to keep trying endlessly. That is, presuming I answered your question correctly.
Deleteyou did, thanks.
DeleteNo problem. The only trend I notice outside of that is they all seem to be oblivious to their surroundings, unwittingly by choice.
DeleteIndex is a bitch that turned his back on people who were trying to help him. Fuck that guy. As for Silver Eagle, he put too much of his self worth and reason for living into PVL and pony. It was his whole reason for existing for a few years, and when that all fell apart, he desperately started reaching out and trying to grab at anything that would give him that false sense of importance and to satisfy his need to belong and be accepted by others. He started loosing his shit when he couldn't get that out of pony anymore and even more so when he realized he couldn't get it out of the furry fandom. When he's not acting out to desperately get attention, he's actually a pretty cool guy. But the last few years like I said, has been really shitty.
DeleteWho SilverEagle or ShadowPony?
Delete@12:38 AFAIK I'm blocked by Silver Eagle for trying to help him. Some people just can't seem to swallow their pride as much as they swallow horsecock.
DeleteOkay... So a guy who used to be a brony and seeking to be Horse Famous left the community trying to do the same in the furry one and Horse News talk about him... for what? Really? The guy is gone. It's beating a dead horse and fuck his corpse. HN got problems to find people to bitch about and now go after those who left for the sake of bitching?
ReplyDeleteOne of the alternate purposes of Horse News is to let us know who is untrustworthy of the fandom and/or who is still out there to scam others. As far as I can remember I believe I've been mutually following Shadow on Twitter before MFR/FVL/whateveritisnow became a thing. As far as they're still at it, while being dead in the fame sense, is enough for us to at least try to avoid being suckered into these things.
DeleteI dunno, unless you're a part of the other fandoms it's not anyone elses issue. He's not part of the brony fandom anymore so it shouldn't be this fandom's issue anymore. Let whatever other fandom they go into deal with him.
DeleteThere's enough overlap that I keep track of both fandoms just to know what NOT to do.
Deleteyeah but not everyone in the fandom is you. You seem more level-headed then most.
DeleteProbably why I don't have many friends.
DeleteYou have friends?
DeleteI've heard of his station, it's not a bad station at all, the staff is nice as well as well as the members who follow his station.
ReplyDeletewhy slander something or some one you don't know? Just for entertainment is not the correct response. If some one was picking on you would you care? Yes even if you say no you will care some where deep down you care.
^ probably a shill, possibly even shadow with those typos
DeleteShadow probably does not even know about this article. Some people can't even spell. Again even if he knows about the article do you think he really cares?
DeleteProbably not knowing him hes just going to continue though out his day running his company.
Hey, I remember Renard! Man, that guy's fursona was the craziest!
ReplyDeleteAlso, he's an admitted sexual predator.
Which one's the predator?
DeleteRenard
DeletePonyville Live has a nice assortment of radio stations. Shame about ManeFrame radio, it played some good songs now and then. In the grand scheme of this, the radio station is simply one of many for selecting music to tune in for.
ReplyDeleteManeFrameRadio is PawPrintRadio they re branded to fit the furry fandom
DeleteWhich is why that radio station no longer appears on Ponyville Live's site to browse relevant radio stations to listen to.
DeleteI love looking at MLP and brony drama. It's like watching a colony of ants kill each other, fighting to become the next queen. Totally unaware that all the backstabbing, pouty exits, and exposés are all totally pointless. Horsefame is not real fame, and should never be attempted to attain. What's there to gain anyway? Fame in a fandom that's cool to hate and belittle? This man is pathetic. The ones who publicize it and hope to attain some of the fools gold themselves are pathetic. Fame should never be the sole purpose of any endeavour, but rather the byproduct of a passion. The race for fame, any fame, is hollow. And to see all of you gawk and pile and climb over each other to become the king of an anthill, well, it's nothing short of amusing.
ReplyDeleteI think you got the wrong fandom. You just described furries there, not bronies.
DeleteBronies are furries, bruh. Denial just makes you look more autistic.
DeleteBronies have been doing it since at least 2012 if not earlier. Besides being involved in one the fandom didn't care until it became pop culture (they don't care today).
Delete"Bronies are furries, bruh."
DeleteKeep telling yourself that if it helps you sleep better at night, friendo :^)
Ponescum conveniently forget they're all fawning over a 4th Generation remake.
DeleteThis shit is older than many of you millenial rubes, pone was furry way back when, still is furry now.

I've known this guy since he was somewhat part of (or trying to get his start on) Sonic Radioboom like 2 years ago (RIP). He was an annoying little prick back then, but only made worse since he had the added bonus of being a shitty 16-17 year old as well.
ReplyDeleteHe asked me to RP with him once, and it was the most hilarious thing ever. ERP is kind of my guilty pleasure, so I kinda agreed and he was just...awful; his "I'm getting close" and "I'm cumming!" posts were just screams. Like, he would just go "AAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!!" like, holy shit.
Anyway, thankful this guy is going absolutely nowhere, but kinda sad seeing that he might never learn his lesson or face reality as it seems.
I can only imagine how bad it's gonna get when he's old enough to buy alcohol...
DeleteYou know Rhe7oric, most of us just enjoy horse content and don't worry about horse fame. If you strive to become horse-famous you risk becoming another BlackGryph0n or IloveKimpossiblealot. Contribute what and if you want to. Don't do things just for notoriety.
ReplyDeleteThat was pretty much the point of the article. I found it more funny that the guy thought he can find more fame by joining the furries after being disillusioned at the lack of it he got with ponies. A fish in larger waters, so to say.
DeleteFurries are better than bronies anyway (both are practically the same thing also), but this guy seems to just be a whiny/raging crybaby attention whore. Sadly, that's the case with people like him and most trolls, they're sad jerks whom no one talks to in real life, they keep doing this because we're the closest thing they have to a friend, and unfortunately they resort to an easy way to get attention: pissing people off.
ReplyDeleteI left the MLP: FiM fanbase (I still like some characters and look at fanart though, I just don't watch the show anymore and I'm not in the community) partially because I felt like an outsider and not getting recognized, but I don't whine about it, I just move on and if people want to know why, I explain maturely.
your point?
ReplyDeleteThis incident haqs extended to the furry fandom. It has gotten to the point where Shadow has gone as far as cyberbullying and exploitation along with impersonation to protect the fame that he has. My URL is my podcast show and in it i explain everything going on as far as FBN failing, as well as his new found Soda City Furcon. He has ties to many imfamous people in the fandom including neo nazis, Furry Valley (Sexually Misoginistic) and GaroShadowscale (Scam artist). This guy is trying way too hard to be famous and now has and holds a nasty light in our fandom and neck of the woods because of his narcisistic behavior.
ReplyDeletehere is a copy of an article covering the issue on this guy's twitter. It has led to police getting contacted on this guy. This issue is really bad!
