Justice For Patches - Pony tortured to death, community needs your help #Justice4Patches

Before some anon claims that this is "social justice": No, this is REAL justice.



I was trying to come up with an eloquent way to introduce this, but unfortunately I am at a loss for words. This is something so absolutely depraved, so inhuman, so monstrous, that I really can't process. 

Meet Patches. Patches, is a little pony from Idaho, who was tortured on the night of September 5th, by criminals unknown. He was dragged behind a car for more than a mile, having the skin tore from his body and was left to die by the side of the road. He was stabbed, beaten, and parts of his genitals were cut off.  They beat him over the head with a blunt object until his eyes swelled shut. Are you as pissed off as I am just reading that?
Thought so.

The small community is banding together to raise a reward for the capture of these hideous excuses for human beings. Here's where you can help get Justice For Patches.

The details are copied below.

Patches was a small pony from a small town , Rupert Idaho, with a population of less than 6,000 residents. Everyone knew Patches as his pasture and family yard are right on the main corner. He was often tethered to the tree in the front yard so that children in the small community could visit him.
His family that include 3 children under the age of 5 adore Patches and wonder why they can't find him.
On Saturday night, September 5th, unknown individuals cut the rope that tethered Patches to his tree. They attached him to their vehicle and dragged him for more than a mile on asphalt and then down a gravel canal bank, ripping the skin from his body.  He was tortued and left there still alive to suffer through the night.  He was found the next morning barely able to stand and had to be put down. 



We know somebody must know about this. These individuals MUST BE FOUND!
We are raising these funds to offer as a reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of these sick individuals that destroyed Patches and broke the hearts of his family and this community.
Nothing will ever bring back Patches or remove these disturbing, horrific images from the minds of the citizens of Rupert.

    I agree that this is fucked up, and hope whoever's responsible for it receives their due justice... but I'm sorry, I'm not donating to something that law enforcement is paid to handle. There are much more passionate horse enthusiasts out there willing to put their funds into this, but horse news readers prooooobably aren't the go-to for something like this.

    It is possible that one of those posting here as "anonymous" could be the person who tortured this friendly pony. It is well known that the perpetrator will hand around the crime scene or social media in this case to see how it's going and how people are reacting.
    Another factor is that this person is probably only practicing. The dominant profile of numerous convicted murderers and serial killers is that they first tortured animals. Along with this, they were also subjected to or witnessed abuse in the home and later went on to set fires and commit the aforementioned animal abuse.
