Derpi-boo-who? Artist quits MLP because of feelings, mods engage nazi-drive

By now, nobody is a stranger to Derpibooru's draconian moderation team, and their unwieldy banhammer, which is used against...just about everyone. Yesterday, a struggle (likely one of many) was pitched between the users and the admins, over some whiny nobody artist who will "no longer be drawing MLP art" due to it "not being respected" and "whitewashed".

Ever the champions of free speech (unlike reddit), 4chan decided to take it upon themselves to respect the living shit out of the artist's message, and take the moderation team to task for their unrelenting bullshit. Let's take a look at what they made.

The Tumblrina disliked people making edits of her My Little Pony Fan Art, to the point that she has vowed to stop making it all together. 

Respecting her wishes, /mlp/ immediately began making dozens of edits of her My Little Pony Fan Art.

Now, all of this would be pretty pedestrian, it's hardly the first time that 4chan has pointed out the hypocrisy that leaks from tumblr on a daily basis (ragequitting MLP because people made art out of your art that you made from someone else's art is hypocrisy), but this all got very interesting when users began to upload it to Derpibooru. 

Users' images were being deleted from the site nearly as quick as they could be uploaded, because the moderation staff are notorious SJWs who censor anything they don't agree with. 

Comments on the original image were being deleted just as fast.

Eventually the Artist herself joined in on the shit show, and she had this gem to share.

The artist seems to be laboring under the delusion that respect is something that is given and not earned, especially on the internet. A person who has only 14 entries on derpibooru (1 of which being the "I'm leaving" image), won't garner much of...any.

The bans continued to roll out as the anons continued to not give a fuck, and they even began reporting the mods themselves as a form of rebellion against their ridiculous policies.

 The dislike for derpibooru's administration and policies runs deep, prompting some to just say it like it is.

Much like reddit's /r/mylittlepony board, pony fans are forced to continue to use derpibooru and their similarly awful moderation policies, almost entriely because there's no viable alternative at the moment.

All that could change in a heartbeat however. We at HN have been compiling all the ban messages that we've seen over the last few months, many of which surmise to "I don't like you" or "I don't agree with you", which is an irresponsible way to handle access to one of the most heavily-trafficked sites in the community.

Eventually the anons grew tired of milking the lolcows and moved on to other topics, but this is hardly the last we will hear of the ongoing conflict between the users and the derpibooru mods.
