Playboy goes to BABScon



Some folks have been saying that we overhype the party at BABScon. Which you may have a point, but today we learned that even Playboy Magazine was getting in on the action this year. A surprisingly unbiased and uplifting article appeared on their website today, that is definitely worth a read - and of course to see if you end up in any photos.     It's nice to have a supportive (or at least sympathetic) article in the mainstream press for once, pity the editorial team didn't spend a little more time fact-checking though:

    "There’s one fan-made parody called Friendship Is Witchcraft that’s so well-made it’s nearly indistinguishable from the original".

    Guess they missed the whole 'abridged series' concept then (and if you're going to spotlight an abridged series surely it should be Mentally Advanced) :P

    Also in light of traceponies: "The fan-made art is inseparable" made me chuckle.
