Now that a date for the premier is finally set, we fully expect to see viewing events popping up all over the place. BABScon will of course have a viewing session as the Season Premier will occur on Saturday, the second day of the Convention. We received word from a London branch of the fandom, that a Premier Party will be taking place across the pond. "S5LDN is an all-day event for fans of My Little Pony, intended to be a celebration of the community surrounding the show. The event will be held on Saturday 4th April 2015 from 11am onwards (including intermission) in Central London. Details are available on our website at https://www.s5ldn.com."
Read all the details below.
With the date set and the hype train full steam ahead, from the team that brought you several Premiere and Finale events in recent years, comes an upcoming London event to celebrate fans of MLP and one of the most dynamic and creative communities the internet has seen. The event will provide an opportunity to gather, socialise, enjoy live music from some of your favourite musicians, and to partake in a number of activities, all in celebration of our common interest.
We are pleased to announce that the S5LDN (“Season 5 London”) event will be taking place on Saturday, 4th April 2015. The event will take place at The Horse & Stables, in Waterloo, Central London and will be held across two spaces for the very first time.
S5LDN will be a celebration of the fandom and community surrounding MLP, and will feature a number of activities, workshops and an evening of live music. We’re in the final process of confirming musicians and other activities. We can’t wait to announce what we’ve got in store, so stay tuned.
You can follow us on Twitter (https://twitter.com/S5LDN) and Facebook (http://facebook.com/s5ldn) to be the first in the know.
This event is being run by the people that you brought you several Season Premiere and Finale events in London over the last few years, with the addition of a number of new faces including staff who helped to run the popular BUCK Convention and amazing Summer Sun Celebration in previous years.
This event will be ticketed for the first time to allow us the freedom to expand and improve the event overall, to prevent places (which are at an extremely high premium) from being wasted, and to take the burden from those who have previously financed the event for the enjoyment of others.
