Tumblr-user, female pony fan charged with conspiracy to commit murder

"School shooter chic - Violence is the Aesthetic" reads the tumblr of one Lindsay Kantha Souvannarath of Geneva, Illinois - a 23 year-old woman who has been charged with Conspiracy to Commit Murder, in a "Columbine-style" attack. Her tumblr: "cockswastica" was just one of numerous accounts that were uncovered showing her so-called "obsession" with Columbine and Nazism, that are linked to the alleged plot to carry out an attack at a Canadian shopping mall.

According to the National Post: "On a Facebook page linked to Ms. Souvannarath, 23, are bizarre images mixing Adolf Hitler and My Little Pony,".

Again? Seriously?

We were shocked at the very minimal reverberation that occurred when we addressed the recent criminal, who - just like this one - happened to be a pony fan among other things. Though Lindsay was arrested before the threatened attack could take place, the fact remains that the shoe is very quickly back on the other foot.

A group of forum users saved everyone a lot of time by compiling everything that she was about, which apparently includes her pony avatar on her KnowYourMeme account. It does seem that ponies were a minor interest when compared to Nazism, Creepypasta, and Fashion. And of course the Columbine shootings. DailyMail:

Her Tumblr page also features images of the Columbine shooters, Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold, including photos of their dead bodies,

'Eric and Dylan are dead, but Reb and VoDKa live,' she wrote, apparently referring to Gamble.

In one post from February 11, she shared a movie poster showing two ghoulish figures with the words: 'Valentine's Day. It's going down' - perhaps hinting at their alleged plan for February 14.

Beneath the poster she added: 'It's almost here. The clock is ticking.'

She also shared quotes from murderers and photos of weapons. One picture shows a man holding a gun and wearing a t-shirt that reads: 'Natural selection.'  

Another post on her blog reads 'Saturday the 14th' in red, dripping letters with the comment: 'Ha Haa' written beneath.

Her website is still showing new updates. Police said that she had pre-programmed online messages before she was due to carry out the attacks and ultimately kill herself.

Lindsay had several accomplices, one of whom committed suicide before he could be taken into police custody. 

So there you have it. If you take only one thing away from this, it's that criminals come in every shape size and background, so perpetually trying to pin the causes of violence on one group of people - as a certain site always does - makes you look ever the more foolish when that mold is broken. Especially when it is broken by one of your own.

Except for Nazis. It's definitely okay to pin violence on nazis.
