More NASA ponies - Rainbow Dash on Mission Patch


So, about a month ago we told you how we caused rectal devastation over at tumblr, because of the pony princesses being printed on components for the international space station. Last week we added the appearance of Nightmare moon in the Google "XPrize" video to the celestial entertainment. Well today we add another piece to the cosmos collection - ponies appearing on NASA patches.
The 30th Space Wing at Vandenberg Airforce Base in California produced these patches, one of which features a Rainbow Dash mid-flight, through a Pink Floyd-esque prism with the slogan "SUNLIGHT IS MAGIC".


The video was made with the Delta II launch last week for NASA's SMAP Project.
http://smap.jpl.nasa.gov/mission/description/ According to the creator, the patches were made by the organization to sell to raise money for their projects.

We've yet to find where the patches are being sold.

    Hold up. Rainbow Dash and Vandenberg?

    This reminds me of a fanfic set years back, where she flies past the base and interferes with a satellite launch. Naturally they weren’t too happy about that, but it looks as though they’ve patched things up now.
