China has an underground Pony fandom



For the last few months, we've been noticing subtle, erratic pony-related things emerging from China. At first we chalked it all up to coincidence, but today we discovered something that confirmed our wildest suspicions: a pony imageboard from China. 

There's an underground pony fandom in the most populous country in the world, and they're emerging...with clop.
That's right, our Chinese brethren have not only joined the fandom but they've chosen sides. 




And they've chosen the winning side. Seen here is a rough google translation of the conversation on one such thread, in which they discuss sharing "14G Drive Pony Porn archives" - aka a folder of 14gb of clop. 


Suddenly the smiling Chinese man in the inflatable Rainbow Dash image makes much more sense. As well as the naked men dancing in Sweet Apple Acres in their most popular music video from 2014.  

It is hard to say how large the Chinese fandom is at this moment, but I for one welcome our new brothers with open arms.
