It's no secret that Lauren has always had a place in her heart for animals. Which is why it comes as no surprise that she announced an upcoming fundraising event for the Wildlife Learning Center. In fact, it seems to be her cause-of-choice, given her long history of promoting their events and lending a hand at them herself.
This time she mentions there will be a brony-related incentive for getting involved.
What could it be?
And what the hell is everyone's favorite fundamentalist doing on the twitter feed?
In October she mentioned on her DeviantArt that there were animals at the center named for 2 of the pets on the show - Angel and Tank. This may be related in some way.
But of course, the name that's been on everyone's twitterfeeds, relentlessly for the last month - "Future President Flameheart" - decided to throw his 2-cents in, begging Lauren to return to My Little Pony. To which she reconfirmed that she isn't coming back anytime soon.
But we MAY see more from the Milky Way and the Galaxy Girls project.
Flameheart will be the subject of an upcoming Horse News interview, resulting from his recent clashes with numerous people over his religious views and how they reflect on the fandom.
Stay tuned for more.
Oh, wow, I wish I could be involved in that interview.
ReplyDeleteJust make sure it's not The Interview. You might get your fingers bitten off.
DeleteMaybe someone should tell him that Faust, and pretty much everyone involved in the show, isn't homophobe either. Would probably blow his tiny mind.
ReplyDeleteSo far he's managed to piss off Ashleigh Ball and Ingrid Nilson. He still seems to adore Tara Strong, so I want to inform him of Princess Clara.
DeleteWhy do I get the feeling that Cain is simply pushing this God-mission because his mom is making him do so? Think about it, when this all started, there was a tweet from him saying about how his mom made him throw away his Rainbow Dash plush on the grounds that it was, "causing me to sin," as he said, and that he genuinely felt sad doing so. Fast forward a few weeks, and he's back on the internet with the God-backed fury of a thousand suns telling off countless bronies, horsefuckers, and the like to go forth and sin no more with the devilish ponies, lest ye go to hell.
ReplyDeleteHe's kind of contradictory at times. He claims his parents have nothing to do with his choice in religion or 'mission', but then he posts about them forcing him off of ponies or whatever.

ReplyDeleteShe ran a fundraiser in 2013 that gave them their names.
Same anon, the stupid one ^
DeleteI should say she *promoted the fundraiser, not ran it.
If it's not clop, it's not a 'brony reward'.
