Curnow and Nuhfer coming to BABS

BABScon's crusade to get ALL the guests continues, as tonight they picked up Heather Nuhfer and Bobby Curnow. Our readers will probably recognize Bobby as being one of the head honchos of the IDW MLP comics. So that should be interesting. If any of you guys have any hope of attending the convention, and haven't booked your rooms yet, you best get off your ass, because they're going QUICK, and you don't want to be the jerk who has to stay at another hotel because of poor planning.

Kapow! Blamo! Wham! Apart from writing and illustration, what makes a comic book special is the story and dialogue that narrates the action. Colorful pastel ponies (while infinitely adorable) can’t tell their own story, and that’s where writers and editors work their magic. Talented wordsmith and self-proclaimed eater-of-pie, Heather Nuhfer is the American comic writer that brought us issues 5-8 and 13-16 of IDW’s My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic comic series.  She also has written for The Vampire Diaries, Strawberry Shortcake, Simpsons One-Shot Wonders: Lisa, Scooby Doo, and several others.

Stand-up citizen Bobby Curnow, writer and editor, is known for writing My Little Pony Micro-Series #4: Applejack in addition to his extensive editing repertoire in the MLP comic series.  He also wrote for comics such as Battle Beasts, Godzilla Legends, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Heavy Metal.  Not only that, Bobby has also written for Ghostbusters, Godzilla, G.I. Joe: Infestation, Jurassic Park,  Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, The X Files: Conspiracy, and many others. Curnow’s exhaustive experience in comic writing makes him a perfect fit for the IDW My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic comic series.
