Round Stable Roundup: Halloween Horror

Halloween might be long past us, but it seems we at Horse News missed an enormous issue that must be covered: women dressing in horse costumes. This is truly an issue that we all must pay attention to, and blame the usual people.

Our compatriots over at a certain round horse-containing structure message board spoke for all of us when they expressed their outrage at Hasbro's insolence and backwardness when officially licensed costumes of our favorite horses made an appearance. Shown here is the reaction:

Rightfully outraged at women debasing themselves by dressing in ways men deem unacceptable

Being a site that cares deeply for the rights of women, Horse News would like to officially state that it agrees with the sentiment echoed by our progressive friends. Women have been tempted by the desire to show off bare ankles and shoulders for far too long, and all to titillate men. Ponies being brought into the issue shows that yet another thing was ruined by the neckbeard misogynist manchildren that make up its online fandom that we totally are not projecting onto. Rather than contribute to this shameful misogyny, we throw our support behind the belief that women should have certain ways of dress closed off from them for their own good, because they cannot possibly enjoy dressing in the ways that they prefer. We must protect them by telling them what they cannot wear.

Women showing off their shoulders for men is disgusting
We call on Hasbro to introduce a line of "realistic" costumes in time for next year's Halloween, preferably ones that reflect our socio-political beliefs and make us feel good about ourselves.

  1. The fact that Round Stable exists makes ME lose all faith in humanity, so I guess we're even.

  2. I legitimately don't understand, what about these costumes makes people angry? They're just Halloween costumes.

  3. The costumes leave the women's hair and in some cases their legs uncovered, thus inspiring an uncontrollable urge to rape them in all men they encounter. I should think this was obvious.

Also, all of the women are in public, but are unaccompanied by a male relative. Thus, Hasbro has tricked them into incurring a penalty of 20 lashes. Very misogynistic of them, that.

  4. Puritanism. The haunting fear that someone, somewhere, may be happy.

  5. If the point, where Round Stable can officially be called batshit insane, hasn't passed yet, it certainly has now. Their standards for "revealing" are questionable, to put it in a friendly way. Sure, they aren't exactly modest, but when it comes to being revealing, they are tame as fuck. You see women baring more skin every day in summer.

It's always amusing when modern feminists basically adopt the mindset of old-timey sexists. Indeed, decades ago, these costumes would have been seen as very revealing and outrageous.

  8. That guy getting all mad like it's bronies that are at fault here. Bro, Halloween costumes for adults (That is a woman) tend to be revealing because it's assumed that you are mature enough to handle it.
