SuperPsyGuy accused of highly offensive behavior, takes leave of internet following tumblr shitstorm



Though it's hard to believe, very often Horse-News gets alerted to some form of Brony Drama taking place in the wonderful world of Tumblr, and we actually choose to ignore it. Either because we know nothing about the participants, or the offenses simply aren't heinous or lulzworthy enough. But today we were made aware of the prolific chronicle of the SuperPsyGuy saga, a man who due to a list of offenses so long we can't even include it in a screencap has triggered a tumblr backlash so intense it cannot go unrecognized.





Yesterday, SuperPsyGuy issued this apology for his actions and fled from the internet, allegedly dumping his entire e-life behind him.  What would cause a person to do this? And how is this pony related? Well even if you've never heard of PsyGuy, you've probably actually heard of him.


He's this guy, who "writes all the scripts for GalaCon" in the promo videos. So there's your pony connection. But what caused this three thousand note backlash? Quite frankly, a lot of shit. That "master post" lists and sources numerous quotes and complaints from people about his behavior. Among this list are accusations of
"Cheating", "Pedophilia", "Grooming Women", "Sexual coercion", "unsolicited sexual behavior", "abusive behavior", "putting down women to push others up", and "general asshole behavior".
We cannot comment on the legitimacy of any of these claims, but the links to the original accusations are included in the posting.

In his brief apology post, PsyGuy denies any allegations of sexual contact with a minor.


Many of the instances cited in the "master post" were accompanied by screencaps of instant messaging conversations and whatnot. The internet at large went into action, creating a campaign alerting others to his behavior, even going as far to create the video below.


Fans of PsyGuy were outraged. Especially those who had given him money at some point or other.


Another popular individual known as Kirbopher received a considerable amount of backlash for their post addressing the situation. Once PsyGuy supposedly began removing all social media accounts associated with his name (although his twitter, youtube, and tumblr are still active) an additional "MasterPost" was created, leading tumblr crusaders to additional pages "owned by Bryon Beaubien".



The rage over the brevity of his apology nearly equals that of his other purported offenses, as this post demonstrates.

All in all, tumblr does not seem satisfied with the short apology that PsyGuy provided, so this may not be the end, but one thing is for sure, as the master post points out "PsyGuy is extremely toxic at best".

    Um...k? The only decent thing he did was the Sonic Bastardized series. He jumped on the pony bandwagon late and nobody seemed to notice or care, and rightfully so.

    I am, however, once again completely baffled by the Tumblr community's general stance on illegal activities, in that they place priority in bitching and pointing out these things on the internet rather than doing the right thing in the case of physical abuse or pedophilia or whathaveyou: call the fucking police.

    This does nothing to deter the man, and instead gives him a way to find an out from it all and continue to do these things again (assuming the complaints are validated. I can't be fucked to read tumblr and follow through links for any reason anymore). If he's done all these things, then why hasn't he been arrested? Social justice warrioring will get hundreds or thousands on your side to increase your volume, yet won't bear down a single ounce of criminal or civil justice against the guy. But no, that would require effort and speaking to someone who might look at you funny once when you give your legal name as opposed to Crimson Fox Hare or whatever these people with identity issues call themselves now.

    I'm not defending Bryon. Mostly because I have nothing to defend nor accuse him of besides a couple dozen voices that could be just as equally spreading lies and slander as opposed to facts and evidence.

    And of course, this is all somehow tied together to be worthy of posting on HN because he worked on the GalaCon promo. Whoop de motherfucking doo.

      Where is your assumption that they're NOT taking legal action coming from exactly? It's been said that they actually ARE taking legal action, but they can't talk about that on the net because it could effect the case.
      I don't see why you're against warning people of an abuser and pedophile, unless you're trying to make excuses for him. They’re warning people about his behavior and letting people know his true colors. Would you prefer that people still gave him money, which gives him the ability to continue doing the shit he does, and young girls still hung around him unaware of what he really is? Is that what you want? For nobody to be aware of how dangerous he is?
      Considering that around TWENTY people have came forward with their own accounts on Psy’s behavior, all stories that tie in with one another, from people who aren’t even friends with each other, how can you reasonably say that Psy is the ONLY one telling the truth and ALL those other people are lying? I mean, COME ON. All the available evidence points to Psy being an abusive pedo.       Most of the time, it feels like I'm watching actual medieval crusaders traveling off to reclaim the holy lands, and I can only shake my head at the senselessness of it all. But then there are incidents like these. The rare times that the crusaders will come back with stories of fighting an honest-to-God dragon. I want to congratulate them on their bravery and heroism, and see its severed head, but then the knights reveal that it's not actually dead, and they just convinced it to eat the locals instead of them.

      The idea that this is just a case of “he said, she said” and that somehow both sides have equal credibility is completely wrong.
      This isn’t one woman’s word against one man’s word. This is over a dozen separate men and women who were involved in his life and all have stories to tell about his abuse, as well as evidence in the form of chat logs and emails, that all come together neatly.
      Do you honestly think it’s somehow just as likely that ALL these people are lying, (people who haven’t even all been associating with each other for years now) that dozens of people made up false stories AND made sure to all fit them together neatly, that Psy is the only truthful one in this whole situation? If you think that is equally likely then you may not be as neutral as you think you are.

    I honestly HATE blaming others when something like this happens, but holy fucking shit.
    Reading through these tumblr posts, these 16 year old teenagers (who act like god damn 10 year olds) did absolutely NOTHING to stop this. They LET it happen AND EVEN FUCKING PLAYED ALONG WITH IT. And they want to blame him for why it happened? Yes, he is OBVIOUSLY in the wrong here, but they're not any fucking better when all they did was fuel the fire and make things worse. They blame the fact that they were young, yet they aren't any older than when it happened, so that's not a legit excuse they can make. What's even more sickening is that they don't even own up to it and say that what they did was wrong, they just full out go "THIS GUY IS BAD NONE OF THIS IS MY FAULT BLAME HIM FOR EVERYTHING HE'S TOXIC". It's basically the same thing as somebody asking to rape you, you say "k", and then take them to court and tell them that it's their fault. You let it happen and you did nothing to stop it, end of story.

So you're basically saying that every underage girl who has their emotions played with by a manipulative prick deserves some of the blame simply because they didn't fight it. Buddy, they didn't fight it because they didn't know they were being played. What you're saying is akin to saying, "Oh, that con man who stole my money doesn't deserve any blame. After all, I willingly gave him money! Sure, it was so that I could get a Jacuzzi, and he instead blew it all on drugs, but who cares? I willingly spent the money, so I should not get any reimbursement for the fraud!" Yes, the girls may have been naive and shouldn't have trusted him (just like the con man), but expecting the greatest emotional and mental abilities out of teenagers is like expecting water to come out of a volcano (why do you think statutory rape laws were made?). This sort of attitude is the same one that claims that women deserved to be raped because of what they were wearing. If you keep that state of mind, the world won't get any better, because in your eyes, any horrible action committed against a person can seem justifiable because the victim can be blamed somewhat for the action itself, no matter how small.

    I really hope you are just some immature 15 year old who stole his uncle's laptop and are just typing random bullshit to troll people. However, if you're a 25+ person writing this, I really hope you don't have any position of power, because in your mindset, anything you do to somebody else below you is justifiable because they "let it happen", "did nothing to stop it", or did something small that, in your skewed perspective, gives you the authority to treat them like dirt.     To be honest, here is some questions i would like to ask
    A. Why has legal action hasn't proceeded to take place?
    B. If Cyber bullying is a crime then why do the victims seem to showing a bit stereotypical about bronies? A tumblr user started to make wild accusations about the blog and then all of a sudden. Liz (Psyguy's ex) basically blasted the fuck out of him, calling him 12 year old (turns out the guy was 18 and was going to the military) and just stating the usual brony stereotype. Isn't that a bit over doing it? Shouldn't they be more compassion and actually correct people? Not screaming like a moron?
    C. The callout blog user seems to be a bit rude for some reason. Towards a user who wanted to get proof about this situation, and the blog just became a douche to the guy for something so simple of posting the link of the pictures and the proof. Why go through so much bs drama with it?
    D. Kirb seems to just ran away from the psyguy team and join up with the victims....seriously that looks like a bitch move to make.
    E. Has anyone actually got real proof of abuse? Or sexual abuse? Or any chat logs besides those that actually gives us a look on his behavior? So that way sites can look out for him?

So instead of getting actually therapy, they think they are victims to sexual assualt but in reality they just got harassed online and went into a bad relationship. Again. Online. You know. Virtual. No contact. No touchy. And because of that, they basically drove Psy to attempted suicide so he can get some sort of therapy. (He actually does, but you might as well keep in an eye out for him) And for some reason the whole psyguy victim witch hunt (you might as well call it that now) still are after him because he didn't state all of his crimes (yes.     Why did he have to do this? He threw his whole life away saying those things towards those teenagers. I personally believe that he didn't touch anyone or actually tried ANYTHING, but humans are excrement and blow things out of proportion. Congratulations. You just ruined a rather young adult's life forever, possibly leading to suicide. Cunts.

      Yes, a guy's life was "ruined" and suicide was a problem for a guy who possibly ruined the emotional states of numerous young girls who were preyed upon and are still recovering. While I don't condone ruining any lives, I don't think this counts as ruining the guy considering it's all true. He should have thought about that before he played the hell out of girls who were too young to know better.
