Horse News Site Design Revamp


Horse News has had a pretty good run since our inception in January of this year, and we've kept things mostly the same. However, we've also gotten a few complaints that our site's design needs work. This is where you come in. Please fill out the Sexy Horse News Site Design Survey and tell us what you think of our aesthetics, whether you be 'mirin or jelly.
What's more, this is a potential new banner. Make note in the survey whether we should/shouldn't use this and use that color scheme for the site.

    I will take your survey, I'll say right now though the old banner looks a lot better then the proposed new one.

    I prefer the old banner.

    You need to take all the embedded flash bullshit off the sidebar. It looks like fucking garbage. Leave the contest pic, fix the color scheme on that HN Radio image and pick a single size font size for the other links (iReport, contact us, etc)

      - Stop hosting those sidebar images on imgur. I know you guys are Jews and don't want to pay for bandwidth but there's shit like Cloudinary: http://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/optimize-and-host-wordpress-images-with-the-free-cloudinary-cdn/
      - If you use some other service it should also compress your images so something like that Facebook icon isn't 20KB (fucking really? lol) - the #PantyHorse image is 300KB for example. Just host the static shit on Cloudinary, you get up to 500MB free - screenshots and other article bullshit can be hosted on imgur

      Again, I know this is just a site run by people who want to fuck colored horses but fixing shit like this (on top of the design) is a good idea too

    I do like the cleaner, flatter design also the font and letter placement of the new banner but it should consist of more vivid colouring. I do not really like the green, black and white colouring; it should be brighter and more colourful.

    Can't remove IWTCIRD. It's the best picture to resume horsefuckery, and I find the colors less flashy for the eye, I do like the fonts/design though.

    Also, seriously. LINK THE CAPTCHA BOX TO THE PUBLISH BUTTON!
