Colbert Plays Pony Clip

Last night, Stephen Colbert opened his show with a story about Iraq, and decided to punctuate it with the title sequence to Friendship is Magic. He also then detonates Ponyville. He claimed in the past to not know what bronies are, but maybe that is just a cover. Check it out below.

  1. Now that is what I call a cringe worthy title sequence.

  2. Hey, I don't know what you guys are talking about. That was genius right there.

That was a great way of criticizing and satirizing the neocons whole idea that we had made the Iraqis peaceful back in 09 when it was obviously not the case. He gets an A in my book.

  3. #CancelColbert This is it. Seriously this is the reason why his show needs to be cancelled. Fuck you colbert. Fuck your obvious advertising of a shit cartoon. Get that fucking hashtag rolling again. Not for Asians, but for this bullshit.

    3. I agree. I'm getting sick of (Kol-Bear). It's COLBERT! You're not a fucking Frenchie! While we're at it, fuck the French. Seriously, the French are nothing more than a nation of bitter losers with their crappy wine, and shitty comedy renditions of Jerry Lewis. They can't sing, they can't play jazz, and they haven't been nice to America since 1940 when they asked us for help, BECAUSE GERMANY WAS KICKING THEIR ASS!

    1. Maybe it's an embedded unlisted video? Though it still makes it possible to report it. So go ahead! Make Hasbro proud!

    2. It's not on Youtube, that's how. It's on Google Docs.

  6. I feel like Colbert is too busy to get into Ponies, but that's just my judgment.

    1. Jimmy, the guy he tells to bring stuff onto screen, would more likely be the brony in this situation, but the whole thing is a satire so it isn't worth getting into.

  7. I don't know what to make of this I think it's Stephen Colbert trying to tap into the cultural Zeitgeist more than anything else. If it was a slow week with less content written I think he would just as easily of shown footage of the upcoming babscon 2014 in some 'funny' article about MLP fans being deviants, fox news style. Gabe Newell has mentioned MLP more than Colbert and he is a famous billionaire, not a Jon Stewart knock off. Colbert isn't based he doesn't know what MLP is.

    1. I think he just made a joke. Gabe Newell isn't that important, nor is he as great as everyone thinks he is.

    1. It was literally just a shoutout before he started with the show.
