The cracked article, found here http://www.cracked.com/blog/5-hated-groups-that-are-going-out-their-way-to-be-awesome/ lists bronies on the list of "5 Hated Groups That Are Going Out of Their Way to Be Awesome".
More specifically, they are addressing the existence of the "Brony Thank You Fund" and "Bronies for Good" which is a mere tip of the fandom-charity iceburg (but to list all of it would require...several...articles).
It's laden with fedora jokes, which by all means should be old-hat by now, but Cracked isn't exposed to them as often as us.

ReplyDeleteI dunno. I stopped reading Cracked when advertisements took over half the page. The writing quality has really dropped, too. At this point they're just a bad parody of what they used to be.

ReplyDeleteWhat I can get behind with the MRM is that men are just as capable of being raped, and a lot of feminists are literally arguing against that, which is un-guised discrimination. I also don't like the stigma that only men are capable of being paedophiles. Anything else is retarded, though.

This, yeah. I was gonna say - do we really want the approval of a site like Cracked at this point? I mean, they long ago lost all credibility, and it's pretty clear that they don't like us, or know much about us for that matter. It's like if you were the owner of a fairly successful chain of fast food resturants, and then one day you received a ringing endorsement from PETA.
