      I realize this is not too serious but it is something people often get wrong irl. Fastest way to tell someone is a narcissist: lack of concern for others and a pathological need to keep others down.
      Rarity has neither. Entire episodes revolve around her supporting the endeavors of others.

      Narcissists also have no genuine sense of self as it based entirely on narcissistic supply, Rarity has a sense of self even when things are at their bleakest for her. Reduced, sure, but that's normal.
