UPDATES: Military Brony fan, Furry, Pegasister, arrested in California Triple Homicide

Acosta, Felix, and Goodwill-Yost
Two men, identified as Josh Acosta, 21, and Frank Felix, 25, and one 17-year-old Kaitlynn Goodwill Yost of California, were arrested Sunday for the deaths of 3 people in Fullerton. It has come to our attention that Acosta, Felix, and Goodwill Yost were members of the MLP, Military Brony fan community, and the Furry community. 2 of the victims, were the youngest suspect's parents.

UPDATES: There is a Gofundme for the funeral costs and future care of the two orphaned children of the victims.


Frank Felix was identified by these furries as being the Furaffinity user known as Entey. 
A facebook page appearing to belong to Josh Acosta was also identified,  the majority of which's photos are of My Little Pony fan-art, and a visual match of the suspect. 



The Facebook Page was verified by a mutual friend of the HN staff of belonging to the suspect.


It is unclear at this time if Acosta is, or was, a member of the armed forces himself,  Update: Josh Acosta is a US Army Mechanic based at Fort Irwin - but his facebook includes membership in the "Pasadena and southern california bronies/pegasisters" group, and follows to the "My Little Anti-Bullying Project", Equestria LA, a large number of Socialist Party pages as well as US Military Pages.


 

Kaitlynn was considered missing for a time, until police located her, and detained her in connection with the deaths. Her public facebook page also makes it clear that she is a Pegasister / Female Brony and a Furry herself.  Here is her her Furaffinity Account
Her involvement in the situation is unclear at this time. There is a lengthy discussion here.






According to Daily Mail:

"Two girls, aged six and nine, were found unharmed inside the house where the bodies of  Christopher Yost, 34, and Jennifer Goodwill Yost, 39, as well as their friend Arthur William Boucher, 28, were recovered.
Officers working on the case have admitted that the triple murder was not random and the victims knew their killers. Despite this, they are still trying to establish a motive for the case.  "



Jennifer Yost was herself a member of the Furry Community, and according to her Facebook page was a plushie maker.




Our hearts go out to the victims' loved ones and the affected communities.

      What the fuck does them being a part of fandoms even fucking mean? There was no point of throwing in those statements lots of people commit homicides, yet you focus on the furry fandom for doing it.     Josh was more than a friend to me. He was like a brother. I feel that I've known him long enough to be able to say that he wouldn't just be throwing away his life away like this out of nowhere, especially not after making it into the military, which is what he's been wanting to do for a long time.
    Entey is mostly just an acquaintance that I don't really know much about, though I know that he's had a history of being mental and suicidal. As for Katlynn.... Well, she's just someone that I'd see at the furry meetups that I went to with Josh. However, I know that her parents wouldn't allow her to date Entey.
    If you ask me, I think that Entey and Katlynn murdered her parents, one of them called Josh over to the house, and then they got found together.

      Unicon was a scam and a shitshow. The party responsible for managing the funds for room and board--the people running the hotel and venue--took off and left everyone stranded, including the show staff and VAs. A big fundraiser kicked off to help them out. I remember there being a terminally ill child involved.

Like really close best friends of them and this was just sad and scary to think this happened with people really close to where I live and who were really good friends of my friends. I was surprised and saddened es by this. And they were military brownies too? Geez
