Artist donates MLP styled casket to family of tragic 4-year-old victim (UPDATED)




Following the tragic loss of a 4 year old girl in a car crash, in a road-rage shooting, an artist from Texas named Trey Ganem has donated a casket to her family, to help her rest easy. The vessel, that will serve as the final resting place for the late Iliana "Lilly" Garcia, is sky blue and adorned with none-other than Rainbow Dash.

“That’s their final resting bed. You know, now we’re giving her what she enjoyed on earth,” said Ganem.

It is a very touching tribute, and our hearts go out to the Garcia family in this difficult time.

Correction: The local news source above (which is what we were originally sent for this story) incorrectly identifies the cause of death as a "crash". The actual cause, as reported by NBC news (linked below) is a fatal gunshot during a road-rage incident, fired by 32-year-old Tony Torrez who has confessed to the murder and is now in police custody. We are unsure why the local news source identified the incident as a "car crash".

      Everyone accepts that one day burying their parents is part of life. (a shitty part of life but one that everyone goes through non-of the less)

      Burying a child is something I do not wish upon any parent. I watched my mom go through burying my sister. my condolences with the family.

    The funeral was held today in Albuquerque. You can see the casket being used in a picture, with a Pinkie Pie doll sitting on top of the casket.

    Heartbreaking stuff. RIP :(
